The Security Industry is regulated by state governments throughout Australia. Provision of security services, advice and installations are all covered by state legislation.
Consequently the products sold by IP-Surveillance.com.au Pty Ltd on this website are intended to be self-installed or installed by qualified licensed security professionals. Generally it is illegal to purchase security equipment and install it at a third party's premises without the relevant license.
There are extremely strict regulations covering the use of audio recording equipment.

In New South Wales, all supply and installations of surveillance and security systems, including IP based surveillance systems, can only be done by relevant NSW Security license holders employed by NSW Master Security license holders as stipulated by the NSW Security Industry Act 1997 and the updated act of 2007 (copy available at http://www.legislation.nsw.gov.au).
IP-Surveillance.com.au Pty Ltd provides full design and installation services. We are NSW Master Security License holders (409458990), and ASIAL members (033926) and employ or subcontract only to NSW Security license holders.

Workplace Surveillance
Employer obligations in regard to workplace surveillance are detailed in the Workplace Surveillance Act 2005 (copy available at http://www.legislation.nsw.gov.au). The Act deals with surveillance of employees by means of cameras, computers or tracking devices and requires that employees are notified as to the nature of that surveillance.
Applicable law

Disputes
Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to IP-Surveillance.com.au Pty Ltd or to products you purchase through IP-Surveillance.com.au Pty Ltd shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in New South Wales, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate IP-Surveillance.com.au Pty Ltd’s intellectual property rights, IP-Surveillance.com.au Pty Ltd may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in Australia, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
